The Rocky Mountaineer half of the trip was lovely and worth the gold leaf upgrade on the train, couldn't go to Jasper due to the summer fires & stayed in Edmonton for a night and day (which was a real low, another day in Banff would be preferred), the Canadian leg of the trip was less impressive - both in terms of the view out of the window and the train itself was basic, though sleeping cabin was an experience but 3 nights was 2 too long! Toronto & Niagara was also good. I personally feel the company could have made a little less profit out of us, to improve the standard of all the hotels, and their locations within the towns (generally outskirts or banking district as opposed to near the tourist areas, don't expect views or even a choice of decent eateries close by.

An excellent way to enjoy the wonders of Canada. Rocky Mountaineer is an experience not to miss. The Canadian from Edmunton to Toronto travels through 4 different vistas of the Canadian landscape. Travel is not fast on this journey, as freight has priority on the tracks. Sleeper class provides very good service and good value. Excursions around Banff are spectacular.

A well organised tour. Excellent range of activities. Enjoyed the mix of organised events and free time. Although expensive I feel it represented good value for money considering all that was included.
