To enhance your holiday experience, all our European and UK tours are now smaller groups. This means you'll enjoy more unique excursions and stay at hotels a larger group wouldn't be able to. You'll also get to spend more time with your Tour Manager, benefitting from their experience and passion for travel as you explore with new friends.
We know the best holidays are filled with immersive experiences that allow you to soak in the culture of your destination. With a smaller group, we can include excursions that not every tourist gets to enjoy. Explore the Vatican after hours on a private tour, go truffle hunting in Umbria or sip wines cultivated on the fertile slopes of Europe's most active volcano.
There's no better way to explore than with a local. They know all the best stories about their hometown, as well as the hidden nooks and crannies most people would miss on their own or in a larger group. Our local tour guides bring history to life right before your eyes, their passion, knowledge and people skills making for a truly engaging experience.
Your feedback is essential in making our holidays even better, and one thing you were sure about was that less is more. Smaller group sizes have been successful year after year and are just as sociable an experience, if not more so, than if there were more people. You'll get more one on one time with your Tour Manager and find it easier to get to know your group.
The best of both worlds, in a smaller group, you'll have a Tour Manager looking out for you throughout your holiday, just like our larger groups would, while also getting extra time to benefit from their hands-on expertise. You'll get a more in-depth insight into the cultures and traditions of the places you visit with locally-led tours that everyone can get involved in, excursions to sites not big enough for larger groups, and accommodation at unique or boutique hotels. There'll also be the chance to explore your way, with a more sedate pace set for viewing the attractions. On trains, it'll be easier to get a window seat and admire the views, while you and your new friends will be able to stay together yet still socially distance.
